So what exactly are online predators? Online predators can be anyone that "preys" on vulnerable internet users. Most of the time, those users that are being preyed upon are  young people, generally high school students. It is your job to be aware of the dangers of online predators and how to avoid them. One of the more dangerous incidents involved with online predators would be stalking. It's unbelievable just how much someone can find out online; and you can't always control who finds that information. About 3.3 million people under eighteen years of age were part of a stalking incident within a 12-month period. Some precautions you can take would definitely be watching what you post online and who you're sharing with. These online predators will do anything in their power to make themselves seem similar to you to build up your trust and possibly meet up with you someday. NEVER go and meet someone you've me online unless you are absolutely positive you know who they are.
